The move to the next level of management requires a relevant and hands on program to ensure the development of effective management skills. Today’s managers need a variety of skills and knowledge to prepare them for the range of challenges they may face in the workforce.
The Program
The Diploma of Management program is a competency based program based on eight (8) Frontline Management Competency Standards, comprising 5 core units & 3 electives. The program is performance based and focuses not only on the knowledge required, but specifically on the application of the skills to the workplace.

Program Duration
There are (8) eight 1-day face-to-face modules based on the units of competency. Each module is conducted approximately 4-6 weeks apart over 12 months. The delivery timetable is flexible. It is organised to fit in with organisational needs, and to ensure maximum learning and transfer of the knowledge and skills back to the workplace.
Assessment
Work based Assessment Project: Each Unit of competency is assessed via various activities, tasks and through a workplace project following the completion of the appropriate learning module. The project aims to reflect the learning and consolidate skills transfer back to the workplace.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is available for this program.
